These are the books I bought this month, Red Rising, Caraval, and HP are not in the picture because I just ordered them from my local online bookstore, they have 50% off, it’s such a steal right! So I bought 7 books in total this month after May book buying ban. Such a shelf control I have! Pfff.

I’ve read three books this month, I’m not proud of this underachievement but I have to accept the reality that I won’t have much time to read anymore because my work shift is killing me.

This book is surprisingly good, I didn’t expect anything but I was so shocked that I turned out really like this book and I’d totally recommend this to everyone! I haven’t had the chance to write the review yet, but I will soon!!

I didn’t watched a lot of movie this month but this movie is totally my favorite. I mean, we had been waiting for what, 14 years? And it was worth it. It’s not only enjoyable and funny, there are so many moral lessons we could learn from that movie!

TV Series

I obviously have been living under a rock! I never interested in this series until I actually tried it and I was addicted! Where the hell have I been all this time? I love family/drama/comedy series but why haven’t I watched this? Doesn’t matter, I only need to watch 9 seasons to catch up! Ok, bye!

  4. If you don’t reward yourself with a little book buying after a book buying ban, are you really a bookworm? Ash Princess is one I’ve been eyeing lately. Look forward to finding out what you think of that one. I need to read Aru Shah soon. I love Roshani Chokshi’s A Crown of Wishes. It’s one of my favorite books. I love folk indie as well. Love discovering new music. I’m always drawn to the more melancholy kind. Listening to your recommendation and loving it. Happy July!

    1. Haha you got the point there!! I really want to read Ash Princess immediately but lately I found bad reviews of that book so I’m really confuse right now! Aru Shah is a fun read and it’s so good. I haven’t read A Crown of Wishes yet, it’s been sitting on my shelf for ages, I guess it’s tim to pick it up!! Aaah so glad I found you!! Folk indie is my jam!! And I’ve been playing that song over and over!!

      1. I heard there’s a love triangle in Ash Princess, so that might have something to do with the negative reviews. Oh my gosh, I love Crown of Wishes so much. It’s one of the most well-rounded fantasy books I’ve read. So glad we can discuss music too. Have you heard of Daughter? Might be one you’d enjoy.

      2. Oooh I can see why now, people hate love triangle. I actually don’t mind love triangle trope if they’re well written. Aaaah now I need to read Crown of Wishes immediately, it’s duology I believe? I HAVE!! I love Daughter so much!!       3. Yes, A Crown of Wishes is part of her Star-Touched Queen duology. I prefer the second book, but the first also showcases her superb writing.

        Yes, we both love Daughter! *insert did we just become best friends gif* We should trade recommendations whenever we comment on each other’s blogs.

  5. I recently watched Incredibles 2, and found it quite enjoyable! Also, I’m glad you discovered Modern Family! It was a favorite of mine for a few years, so I have nostalgic memories from it. Hope you have a good time binge-watching! 😀

  7. It seems June was a bad month for us both. I only read 5 books and none of them was higher than a three star. It’s too bad you didn’t like Scythe. I only ever hear good things about it. And I’m so excited for Aru Shah. I’m so glad you liked it. And I loved The Incredibles 2! I remember watching the first one in theaters way back when. Great wrap up! Hope you have a good July!
